FACE TO FACE: PORTRAITURE IN A DIGITAL AGE
an exhibition of Australian new media art

Venue: The Art Center, 7floor Center of Academic Resources, Chulalongkorn University
Face to Face explores new expressions of portraiture in a digital age. The exhibition features works by fourteen Australian artists who use a range of media including digital photography, video and interactive installation all of which provide a unique perspective on how digital technologies can reshape our understanding and experience of contemporary identity.

An exhibition of works by six internationally renowned Australian artists engaged in
transforming the definition of drawing. The artists explore social issues ranging from environmental awareness, industrial relations and nationalism, to more subtle statements about image-making in contemporary culture.
NAIDOC week
Date: 4-11 July
It celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It also builds bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Australian Secondary School Exhibition

Venue: The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel
Ther are over 20 top private and specialist secondary schools from Australia to attend an exclusive educational exhibition. Admission is free.
Anzac Day
Date: 25 April
Venue: Kanchanaburi Allied War Cemetery
The Embassy joins Australians around the world in commemorating Anzac Day and remembered all Australians who served in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. ANZAC Day in Thailand is commemorated by conducting a Dawn Service and Gunfire Breakfast at Hellfire Pass and a Memorial Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony at Kanchanaburi Allied War Cemetery.
Australia Day

The Australian Embassy hosts a reception to celebrate Australia Day. More than 500 guests representing the full spectrum of the Australia-Thailand bilateral relationship attended the function.
